At Plainedge High School, Villari led his team to a perfect 12-0 season, culminating in the 2019 Long Island Class III state championship. His senior year stats were impressive: over 1,300 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and 1,500 rushing yards with 25 touchdowns. His performance earned him the Thorp and Snyder Awards, recognizing him as Nassau County’s top player and quarterback, respectively.

Villari began his college career at the University of Michigan, appearing in four games during the 2021 season. Seeking more opportunities, he transferred to Syracuse University in 2022, transitioning from quarterback to tight end.

In the 2023 season, Villari emerged as a dynamic offensive weapon for the Orange. He recorded 20 receptions for 180 yards and three touchdowns, rushed 55 times for 326 yards and two touchdowns, and completed 22 of 33 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown. Notably, he became the first Syracuse player in over two decades to score rushing, receiving, and passing touchdowns in a single season.

A highlight of his season was a game against Pittsburgh at Yankee Stadium, where he rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown, setting a program record for rushing yards by a tight end.

As of the 2024 season, Villari continues to be a key contributor for Syracuse, embracing his role as a traditional tight end under offensive coordinator Jeff Nixon. His journey from high school quarterback to collegiate tight end exemplifies adaptability and determination, making him a standout athlete from Long Island.
