This is always a great pre-season clinic that coaches from all over Long Island look forward to. These sessions are rumored to run late because there is no shortage of enthusiasm from young coaches looking to tap into the experience of Dave Shanahan, one of Long Island’s most passionate and successful coaches. I attended one of his clinics in my 2nd year and people were in the auditorium until nearly 11pm while he drew out offensive and defensive schemes for us on the overhead projector. Great clinic, great coach!
