Long Island Football Influencer

[These are the movers and shakers of Long Island Youth Football that we wish to honor. They are Coaches, Recruiters, Parents, NFL/NCAA players, and dedicated people doing things in and outside their communities to elevate the level of football on Long Island. These people do not all have 20 years of experience, fancy alma maters, or superstar backgrounds. Many of them do; but what they all have in common is more important than that: they all put in many hours dedicated to the cause. This is time spent away from their families, sacrificing, working hard to to gain more exposure for players on Long Island, and creating new opportunities for them. Their passion and dedication is fueling the new movement that is getting people on Long Island excited about football. #JoinTheLiyfaMovement]

Marc Negrin is a respected coach and youth/high school referee. He is also the commissioner of the Patchogue-Medford youth football club, and involved in a number of other sports locally. Marc has done a tremendous job in the community, and is constantly giving back to the players, parents, and coaches that he comes into contact with not only in his own town, but across Long Island. Marc is not just another average coach or ref. He spends many volunteer hours in an effort to raise the level of the game and of the players and coaches around him. As an official he is stern but extremely respectful of coaches even at the youth level. He has a vast knowledge of the game and is admired by players and new coaches for his efforts and patience in helping them learn the game. He’s an outspoken and likeable guy that’s always there to pat a kid on the back and to offer compliments on good coaching. He’s seen a lot in his day so if you’re lucky to receive good feedback from the man as a player or coach, be honored.
