Long Island Football Influencer

[These are the movers and shakers of Long Island Youth Football that we wish to honor. They are Coaches, Recruiters, Parents, NFL/NCAA players, and dedicated people doing things in and outside their communities to elevate the level of football on Long Island. These people do not all have 20 years of experience, fancy alma maters, or superstar backgrounds. Many of them do; but what they all have in common is more important than that: they all put in many hours dedicated to the cause. This is time spent away from their families, sacrificing, working hard to to gain more exposure for players on Long Island, and creating new opportunities for them. Their passion and dedication is fueling the new movement that is getting people on Long Island excited about football. #JoinTheLiyfaMovement]
Stella Collins-Genova started out as a team mom on her son’s local team when he was 5 years old like many moms do, but somewhere along the way found herself involved with a bunch of different teams and broad range of responsibilities. She has been involved locally with Franklin Square, Wantagh, Bellmore, and in towns that span all of Long Island in Football, Wrestling, Track, and more. She is an unbelievably energetic volunteer, self-driven, and with a meticulous attention to detail. She has been a blessing to the organizations she has touched and continues to make every organization she is involved with BETTER. Stella has a warm personality, always considerate and helpful, and she is a huge supporter of the gridiron life — football mom to the core. You will always see her in a helping role, laughing with the families around her, or cheering on the team. She is a people person, an excel whiz, unconditional volunteer, a great mother, and we are fortunate to tap into her positive energy and upbeat personality. The football world is more organized and professional with her involved.
